 Ann Kenis is an attorney who began practicing law in 1981. She works as an arbitrator, specializing in resolving labor and employment disputes throughout the country. She has lived in northwest Indiana since 1988. Her travels and her experience with so many industries brought into sharp focus the energy and environmental issues facing us today. In 2006, she initiated the Energy Task Force in Valparaiso, Indiana, based on the belief that energy resource conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources are critical tools in planning for our future. She now chairs the Energy Committee for the city of Valparaiso, and has ongoing responsibility to develop energy strategies at the local level.
